Conserve Italia is a leading European-scale company, specialised in the processing of fruit and vegetables.
It includes 17 plants scattered throughout Europe. It is a market leader in Italy for the processing of fruit juices, tomato purée and vegetable preserves.
“Many reasons have led us to choose the district of Ferrara: its strategic location in one of the most suitable and qualitative fruit and vegetable growing areas of the country, the presence of adequate industrial settlement infrastructures, the support provided by the local, provincial and regional authorities”.
This investment stems from the co-operation between the Regional, local authorities and the trade associations.
It is the largest European plant in the fruit and vegetable processing sector, with a surface of 300,000 square metres, a processing potential of more than 260,000 tons of raw materials.
Investments have been financed by Community, national, regional and provincial funds.
In particular, the Ferrara local authorities have supported Conserve Italy with funds allocated under the Regional agreement and the Area Programme schemes.
